General Information
How do I book a karaoke session or event?
You can book a private karaoke room directly through our website, by phone, or in person at the venue. We recommend booking at least 48 hours in advance, especially for weekends, public holidays, or large groups. Book through the link here.
When does my booking time start?
Your booking time starts at the time you selected when making your reservation—not when you arrive. Please arrive on time to make the most of your session! Late arrivals may result in a shortened session or cancellation at management discretion.
Can I extend my booking or add extra time?
Yes! Extensions are subject to availability and will be charged at the same rate as your original booking. Please notify staff before your session ends to arrange this.
How many people can fit in a room?
Each room has a maximum capacity, which will be enforced. Additional guests may be allowed in the bar area if space permits, but exceeding room limits may result in early termination of your session and full charges for the room and drinks.
Can I stay in the Piano bar after my karaoke session finishes?
Guests are able to remain in the venue if there is capacity available. If the venue is full, you may need to exit at the end of your session.
What if I cause damage or make a mess?
Guests are responsible for any damage or excessive mess in the room. Fees may apply for broken equipment, furniture, vomit, graffiti, or other damages. This ensures we can keep the venue fun and safe for everyone.
Can I host a birthday, work party, or other event?
Absolutely! Our private rooms are perfect for parties of all sizes. Book early to secure your preferred time. If you want to bring a cake or special decorations, let us know in advance so we can accommodate you safely.
What if there’s an emergency or event outside your control?
If an unexpected event occurs—like a power outage or government restriction—Terry’s Karaoke & Piano Bar is not responsible for cancellations or interruptions. We’ll always do our best to accommodate guests or reschedule bookings.
Venue Questions
Can I bring my kids to Terry’s Karaoke & Piano Bar?
Yes! People under 18 are welcome until 8pm only. They must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian while at the venue.
Is there a dress code?
Yes! Smart casual attire is required. Please wear shoes at all times. Scruffy clothing, beach attire, slippers, sportswear, flip flops or nudity is not allowed.
Can I bring my own food or drinks?
BYO food is welcome until 8pm, however, BYO alcohol is not permitted. Any items brought in will be safely returned at the end of your booking.
What happens if someone is intoxicated or misbehaves?
We reserve the right to refuse entry, stop service, or ask anyone to leave if they are intoxicated, disruptive, or disrespectful. This helps keep the experience fun and safe for everyone.
What forms of ID do you accept?
Guests consuming alcohol must present a valid 18+ ID. Accepted forms: Australian driver’s licence or permit, passport, proof of age card, or Keypass. We do not accept photos of ID, student IDs, or international driver’s licenses.
Do you have security and CCTV?
Yes. CCTV is in operation in all public areas to keep guests and staff safe. Cameras do not operate in toilets. Management may also conduct bag checks on entry and exit.
Are pets allowed?
For health and safety reasons, pets are not allowed inside the venue. Service animals are welcome.
